Sebastian O’Brien is an Atlanta-based author and musician whose work spans fiction, film, and independent media. After studying at Emerson College and performing in Boston’s music scene, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he worked in independent film, co-founded the cult repertory screening series Friday Night Frights, and created the film podcast Tentpole Trauma.

His work in speculative fiction includes optioned screenplays, contributions to the anthology feature Portals, and short fiction published both online and in print. His debut novel, Zeta By Proxy, a near-future thriller about identity, technology, and the commodification of the human body. It is currently being shopped to literary representatives and publishers.
